Near my home, there is a road that leads up and over a hill that looks upon the surrounding farmland and out to the bay, and across the water. Every time I come home and crest that hill, glimpsing the breathtaking view just for a moment, I am reminded of the fleeting beauty of this life we get to live. This experience always inspires me to hold the person I love a little closer, and stop to take in the view often as we climb life’s hills together.
